Face
Face
Through the relationships of a group of high school students and their extended network of peers, Face explores how we become who we are and the complicated social processes that, magnified, through our use and misuse of communication technologies, can turn exclusion, hurt and conflict into life-or-death experiences. To follow the scope of the unfolding drama, you must first "like" the InFace Page and become a member of the InFace Group on Facebook. For even greater insight and access to the characters' inner lives, participating Colorado high school faculty and students will be invited to "friend" the seven principal characters, permitted access to characters' private exchanges, and provided classroom opportunities to meet the characters (young actors selected from Denver's professional theatre community) and to talk, in person, about their lives ... the hidden and the exposed. When your "friend" request is accepted, you will be given access to all posts and links to characters’ blogs, tweets, podcasts, galleries and YouTube videos, where you can follow, interact, and possibly intervene in the course of events. As a friend, group member, and fan, you will also receive up-to-date information about appearances (times and physical locations where characters can be observed -- even approached and spoken to -- while going about their lives in public) and flash scenes (short, live performances in which conflicts erupt between characters) at locations in and around Denver.
